Hi.
I cannot remember if i took my birth control pill today, even though it is missing from my pack. I was busy in the office and I remember having taken in out on my hand but I got distracted shortly afterwards and I do not remember actually having put in in my mouth and swallowing it. I am usually a little obsessed with this and remember having swallowed it. So, I am freaking out a little bit. What precautions can I take in case i really did miss the pill? This is the sixth day of the second week of my 21 days pack.

Thank you for writing.
Odds are that you did take your pill, albeit absentmindedly. But to err on the side of caution, act like you didn't and use a condom for the next 7 days. You'll then be protected again.
