Hi,
I am currently on Loestrin 24 Fe. I take it everyday regularly (within 2 or 3 minutes) and I have never missed a pill. My boyfriend and I usually use condoms as well, but we were fooling around the other day, and his penis rubbed against me before he put a condom on. My question is: is there a risk of pregnancy here? I've just heard stories of people getting pregnant from precum and getting pregnant on birth control. Thanks!

You are using your hormonal contraception consistently and correctly, which means it is 99% effective at preventing pregnancy. Many women who become pregnant when using birth control are not using it with this type of "perfect use", and the typical use of birth control pills lowers the effectiveness rate considerably. It is true, however, that no form of birth control is 100%, so it is smart to be cautious and "double up" on your birth control protection.

Also, pre-ejaculatory fluid does not contain sperm (unless he ejaculated prior to this episode, and the "pre-cum" can push up sperm).

Lastly, since you did not have sex, he did not ejaculate in/on/near your vagina...you would have no chance of pregnancy.
