Well me and my bf fooled around on Halloween (October 31st) and we had sex(well sorta). It still hurts me because Im kinda new to the whole sex thing so I really only let him put his tip inside because its so painful.I know I still could have gotten pregnant this way so I stopped him after about 15 seconds of doing this.I start my period on the 15th of every month and he told me he was no way near ejaculating and he urinated before we did this(It this makes any difference) I dont know if Im being paranoid or what but I just want to know are my chances of pregnancy high.

The only reason Im kind of worried is because I believe I was ovulating around this time.
I would be so devastated having a kid and the sex wasnt barely anything:( That would suck. IM GETTING ON BIRTH CONTROL A.S.A.P after this is over!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hi Anonymous,
Thanks for your question and for finding EmpowHER. Kudos for being forthright and getting on birth control after this experience. You will find that it can be fun and not stressful when you take care of things and protect yourself from unwanted pregnancy and STDs.
Anytime you have penis-to-vagina contact, it's risky even without ejaculation, because there could possibly be what's called pre-ejaculate that seeps from the penis--he and you may not even realize it, and it COULD contain sperm. So yes, the behavior is risky, but getting pregnant that way is not likely--what you did is called the withdrawal method of birth control, and it's only about 70% accurate at preventing pregnancy. This also has been discussed at amazing great lengths in this thread. Check it out:

Good luck and let us know how you're doing.
