could be pregnant after taking the morning pill?

well had unprotected sex on the 26th july and took the morning pill at 10am and 10pm.from 1st august i started getting changes like breasts becoming big up to now.am supposed to get my period on the 13th or14th but am not seeing them.could i be pregnant?

Thank you for your question and welcome to EmpowHer. We cannot guarantee that you are not pregnant, but as you explained that you took the morning after pill within 36 hours of having unprotected sex, you did the right thing. One thing that you can and will expect after taking the morning after pill, is irregular periods. This may last for three months, so don't be alarmed.

You can always take a home pregnancy test when you are late for your next period. The explanation of your breasts mimic the symptoms of premenstrual symptoms, so it would be impossible to be certain.
