Hi, I'm new in this site and I found it when I was searching for answer to my womb cramp, which I experienced it quite often. I hope somebody could help me answering the question.
I had this cramp several times, and it feels very painful even more when I was sitting in a vehicle and it passes through the bumps. I had the worse condition before approximately last year. My menstrual was about 3 weeks late and I decided to see the obstetricians; I thought I was pregnant at that time. But then the doctor told me that I was having my fertile period, which the time was late and it was causing the cramp and burning sensation in my womb. That was the first time in my life I ever had that; with the condition that I always having my menstrual right on time (around 28 -30 days of cycle).

This year I had that cramp several times (more that previous years) and this month I have the pain again; cramp and burning sensation in my womb for almost 3 weeks. Me and my husband are planing to have another baby and and we were always trying some positions (during and after having sex) that people say might help me to get pregnant, such as putting the pillow on my buttocks and lean my legs to the wall to make my womb position lower to prevent sperm from spilling (It's probably just a myth, but I kept doing it).
My question is, why do I experience the cramp and burning sensation on my womb prior to my menstrual time which was almost 2-3 weeks before it? Does my womb having an infection, even though there is no white liquid, itchy, or bad smell, etc? from it

Hi bunda,

Welcome back. For Endometriosis not always do you need to have a family history of it.  Aside from the causes I had listed previously, It would be hard to know what can be the cause. It would be a good idea to ask your doctor about doing other different imaging test like an MRI. Which might give a more detailed picture.

Best,

Daisy

Hi bunda,

Welcome to EmpowHER and thanks for your question.  Sorry to hear this. Have you had an ultrasound or any kind of imaging test done? if not that would be important to find the cause for your cramps. Many things can be causing the pain in the uterus.  Some of the causes can be Cyst, endometriosis, pelvic inflammatory disease, uterine fibroids. It's important to ask your doctor if you haven't had one done yet.

Here's a link that can help.

Hi Daisy,

Thank you so much for your respond. Yes, I was forgot to tell you that last year when I had that cramp and burning sensation in my womb; I had the ultrasound check for the womb and the tubes, but the doctor said there was nothing in it...it means that I don't have any disease in my womb. The doctor told me that the shape of womb is up side down...and it shouldn't cause any problem if I want to get pregnant and that's not what causing the pain; and also with a prove that I already have 1 kid.

I don't have any family member who have pregnancy problem or endometriosis, so there's no genetic reason for my pain either.

Now, I'm so confuse with my condition...and as if I don't have any chance to get pregnant again....which was upsetting pretty bad.
