Hello Anonymous,

As I mentioned in my reply to the person with the original question, there are side effects associated with oral contraceptives. Check the posted website link for further information, or consult your gynecologist.

Maryann

Hi,
Please accept my apologies, but there was an error in the copy and pasting of the website that I intended to give you. I have corrected that. But, most importantly, I am glad that you found the information and are feeling relieved.

I was just a little scared cause I have been on and off this pill for years and just started back 3 months ago because my husband and I aren't ready for a baby just yet!!!:) Thanks again!!!

Hi,
Relax. Here is the link to the website, RxList.com, with complete information on Ortho-Tri-Cyclen :
http://www.rxlist.com/ortho_tri-cyclen-drug.htm
There are several side effects listed including breakthrough bleeding, spotting, changes in menstrual flow and gastrointestinal symptoms such as abdominal cramping and bloating. I hope this information has been helpful. But always consult your physician if you still have concerns.
