Is it bad when your Dr. tells you your thyriod is out of control and that your calcium level is low

Hi Anon,

If you are not taking medication, then this would probably be expected. However, if you have been medicated and it is still "out of control" then there's something to be done about your current medications or dosages.

Did he give you medications to control your thyroid and raise calcium levels? If so, take them as prescribed. On your follow-up visit, they should no longer be low or out of control.

Best,

Rosa
