I have a question: while working out at the gym, I get dizzy spells. It's really weird! I can spend an hour running on the trail with no problem; but, 30 minutes on the treadmill leaves me dizzy and light-headed. I thought perhaps it's a breathing issue, but I don't know. Today, I was doing a workout guided by my personal trainer, and had to stop a few times to regain my senses. All I was doing was pushups and lunges!
I do wear a heart rate monitor and my heart rate wasn't too high. I do hydrate during my workouts, so that wasn't it (I sweat like mad, too). It's baffling to me!
Does this happen to anyone else out there? If so, what were you told that could be contributing factors?
