So i did NOT have sex on the day i think i ovulated, most likely 2-3 days after i did. so will a pregnancy test still detect pregnancy 10 days after the day i ovulated or 10 days after the possible conception?
(i am NOT trying to get pregnant)

okay, thank you! so you think it is possible i could be pregnant considering it was only 13 days at the time?

It really should be effective after 13 days (only 1 day shy of the two weeks) the condom is a back up source but if you've been taking your pills on time every day you should be fine. Just try to be patient-- I know it's hard-- but I think your birth control did its job :)

well i had just started loseasonique so i won't have a period. and i know i'm on birth control so i "can't be pregnant" but i had only been on it for 13 days at the time. so i'm assuming it wasn't effective.

For the first two weeks of birth control, it is advised that you use a back up birth control method such as a condom-- after that it should be effective. In this case, you can test for pregnancy after the date you are supposed to get a period.

A pregnancy test can detect pregnancy once you have already had a late period, not 10 days after sex or ovulation. Although you did not have sex on the day yiou were ovulating, you still had sex on the week of ovulation making it possible to get pregnant. Try not to worry about it too much and wait for your next period to come, if it doesn't you can then test for pregnancy and expect an accurate result.
