Hi BlueStone99,

I'm so sorry to hear about your battle with Fibromyalgia.
Are you still on doxycycline? If this antibiotic wasn't successful treating the bacteria, then that explains why the flair-ups came back and why you are experiencing joint pain. You may want to contact your doctor regarding this.

What other measures have you taken to help ease the pain? How about some exercise? If you do not normally exercise please remember to start off with short walks, then gradually increase the minutes that you walk for. You can also consider alternative therapies since medications are not the best option for you, please find the article as well as our members suggestions here: https://www.empowher.com/fibromyalgia/content/exercise-still-best-treatment-fibromyalgia

Best Wishes!
