I have gained over 57 pounds after a gallbladder removal. Is there any medication I can take to help with filtering the fat from my lever? I have been on a low fat diet and eating meals slowly exercising every day but not loosing any weight. I don't eat white bread or pasta. Please help.

Thank you,
DMichele

Guide

Hello and thank you for sharing your question.

I suggest that you get your hormone levels and thyroid checked.  These are classic symptoms of thyroid trouble.  The sooner you catch thyroid problems the better.  Doctors will proscribe different treatments depending on how long you have had symptoms and how imbalanced your hormones are.
