i supposed i had my ovulation2 days before we had unprotected sex, but then my bf did not have an ejaculation inside me. it was only afterwards when he ejaculated on his underwear. i knew about emergency contraceptives but it was my first time to take 55 hours after the deed. i took 4 pills of nordette as a 1st dose and another 4 pills after 12 hours. they say that you can be nauseated and have headaches form taking it but i did not experienced any of it. could i still be pregnant even if there is no ejaculation and i took the pills within 72 hrs?? pls help.. im thinking a lot of things and i get paranoid from this..thanks..

If your boyfriend did not ejaculate anywhere inside/near/on your vagina, you would not have a high risk of pregnancy. However, having unprotected sex, and using the withdrawal method (he withdrew his penis before ejaculating) is not the best birth control method, as it is only about 70% effective (compared to using condoms at 98% effective).

Using emergency contraception is a good choice, and provides up to an additional 80% protection against pregnancy, when your birth control fails, or you choose not to use birth control.
