Q:

Hi I am always feeling low and not much energy to do anything. I don't feel excited about anything and feel I am losing my zest for life.

Could it be hormonal and if so what tests do I request from the doctor?
I am post menopausal and take a mini pill for my hot flushes.

Hi Anon,

Welcome to EmpowHER and thanks for your question.  The are several test your doctor can perform like: FSH Blood Level Measurement, Estrogen (Estradiol) Levels, Ultrasound.  Depending on what your doctor feels is best for you.

Here's a link that can help.
