My 15yr old wire hair Jack Russell has become infested with fleas. I have In the past after only seeing one or two fleas on him gave him a bath with dawn dish soap, then rinced him with vinegar dried him off then sprayed him down with apple cider vinegar. The next morning I noticed he wasn't acting like himself, so my daughter carried him to his food bowl put him down and is front legs buckled underneath him and he fell onto his face. I panicked called my mom is she came and looked him over. Whsy she thinks happened is he was having an allergic reaction to one or all of the things I used to bathe him. So when I noticed that he was infested I was extremely upset of course not having the money necessary to bring him into a professional and have him treated effectively and correctly. So my question is what would you recommend that I use and do to get rid of them?

Hello Anon

Thank you for writing!

This is a website for human health, not animal health - you'd be off contacting a veterinary clinic. We don't have information on health care for animals and don't want to give advice on something not researched on our site.

We wish your pup the best.
