Hello and thank you for sharing your question.
It is, in many cases, necessary to have a regular period in order to conceive. Some doctors recommend that you take birth control pills for a little while simply to start getting your period on a regular cycle. Then when you stop taking the pill your hormone levels will be stable enough to conceive. There are also other hormone treatments.
I suggest that you talk to your doctor and have your hormone levels tests. This will give your doctor a clear idea of what treatment may help you conceive.
