how do i determine my due date

my last normal period was oct 6-9,2011 and i had what i thought was a period nov5-7 but it was shorter than normal and very very light i had blood preg test nov15 (neg) then today i took a preg test and it was pos.so not sure which date to use. calculator said july13,2012 and august 12,2012

Thank you for your question and welcome to Empowher. Congratulations on your pregnancy as well. I like to offer the pregnancy calculator from Baby Center which you can find here http://www.babycenter.com/pregnancy-due-date-calculator.

If you haven't already, you should see your doctor and they can better determine your due date by sonograms. Depending on your situation, your doctor may request a C-section and pre-determine your due date while I know many others like to have natural deliveries and your due date can depend as the baby will come when he/she feels ready.

i wa in so much pain tonight i went to er and the nurse said that my due date is july 12th according to my bloodwork. but thanks for the response
