Guide

Hello Anonymous,

How many carbohydrates you should consume daily is very individual and depends upon how active you are, the medications which your are taking, and how well your diabetes is managed.

The general recommendation of the American Diabetes Association is 45 to 60 grams of carbohydrates at each meal. You may need more or less depending on how you manage your condition.

Talk with your primary care physician to develop a diet plan that works best for you.

Regards,
Maryann
