Hysterectomy

I had a full hysterectomy about 1-1/2 years ago i'm 47 I now notice so many things I get headache at least once a day, I don't care if I ever have sex, I'm tiered and have no energy, a lot of times when I stand up I get dizzy spells, not to mention hot flashes and night sweats I was taking an estrigell but no longer have med insurance but I still felt this way when I was using it. Also I have gained weight and it is so hard to loose could this just be an age thing about 20 lbs in last 1-1/2 years

Hi Bholloway64,

Unfortunately, with a hysterectomy come certain unwanted side effects and surgically induced menopause. This doesn't mean that you have to live with them, you can go to your doctor and get treatment as well as make changes to your lifestyle that will allow you to live more comfortably post-hysterectomy.
