Q:

I am 37 years old and I have a fibroid 9 x7cm. I intend to get pregnant without removing it out. the fibroid position is Rt postlateral subserosal-intermural (out side part i guess). I want to know about my chances for giving birth to a healthy baby :)

Hi Anon,

Welcome to EmpowHER.  Some women with Fibroids are able to have a healthy baby.  Most women will experience lots of pain during pregnancy, due to the fibroid possibly growing.  Complication can also occur as far as a miscarriage. Fibroids during pregnancy are not treated until after the birth. If you are trying to conceive, it;s important to discuss with your OBGYN before.  Hope this was helpful?

Best,

Daisy
