I am 53 years old and have had tinitus for 32 years. Recently it got real bad in both ears.

An MRI locate a posterior fossa arachnoid cyst. Could this be the reason for the excessive tinnitus?

Hi,
Tinnitus, or "ringing in the ears", may be exacerbated by the cyst, as it seems this type of cyst found on the brain can have many different types of symptoms.
