I have been treated and now me and my boyfriend want to have a baby, and I've been trying for quite a while, do you think that maybe I need to use some birth control to increase my hormones

Welcome to EmpowHer, Anon. Glad to have you here.

Can you tell me why you think going on birth control would help you get pregnant?

Are you hoping it will help regulate your cycle so that when you go off it again you have a better chance?

There are lots of reasons that people have a hard time getting pregnant; some on the male side, some on the female side. How old are you and your partner?

Are you familiar with your body's cycle enough to know when you are ovulating?

Have you talked to a doctor about trying to get pregnant? How long have you been trying?
