Dear Anonymous,

Famila 28 tablets are oral contraceptives that can also be used as emergency contraceptives. However, in order for them to work as emergency contraceptives you must take 4 within 120 hours of having unprotected sex and then 4 more pills 12 hours after you took the first set.
