I had a white milky discharge yesterday morning, when my period was due. my period still hasn't started and my last period lasted only 2 days. What could have caused this?

Thank you for your question and welcome to Empowher. White milky discharge is usually associated with ovulation although sometimes this may be associated with some sort of infection also such as a yeast infection. Are you experiencing any itching or dryness? If not, this should not be alarming as the discharge is pretty common as women's bodies tend to cleanse themselves by discharge and if it is not discolored....it would be normal. If you are concerned about pregnancy, take a pregnancy test once you have missed your period otherwise, if you are still concerned make an appointment with your OBGYN.
