Hi Anon,

Thanks for your post! If you have been taking your pills every day, without fail for the last 5 months you are protected. The only medications that interfere with birth control pills are Antibiotics. If you are taking antibiotics then you should consider using a backup birth control method such as a condom. If not, then you are getting the full protection that birth control pills give.
