I have realized that my toenails are turning side ways have really shined toe nails wanting to know what this means??

Having lung cancer may mean you have poor oxygen circulation and a poor blood supply which can affect the nails. Are you saying your toenails used to be shiny or they are extra shiny now?
Ask you oncologist for more information about getting treatments for your nails.
