I'm a 44yr male that crashed to the snow causing me to loose all feeling from the neck down and lost all movement temporally 3-5 minutes . I felt no neck or back pain after the ordeal . I do have very sharp pain like pins poking me on the top of both Hands as of 3 hours after the crash . I hit the top left of head ,most of my left shoulde while flying of a snow jump doing. About 1 mph landing on compact snow . Vision is good no pain other than the pins pricking my hands? All feeling is back from. Head to toes. What happened to my body ?

There could have been compression to a nerve, which caused the temporary loss of feeling, or a mild concussion from the fall. The sensation in your hands could be the result of compression of a nerve.

That was quite a close call! When did this accident happen? Were you evaluated by a physician following the accident?

Considering your symptoms and the areas of impact, I would think a MRI scan, a CT scan at the least, would have been done to evaluate damage.

Your questions would be best directed to your physician.

This happened yesturday afternoon . We are currently in a ice stores where I live and most offices are closed at this time . Tne tingling is still in both hands but I feel pretty good with minimal pain as I thought for sure I would feel some neck & back this morning . I really thought I broke my back as I was paralyzed from neck down and thank the almighty that I was able to get my movement back .
