we had been doing some foreplay, fingering to be precise. i nvr worried at first, and i know that he never ejac when we do it. is there any possibility of prgnancy if evr he touchd his thing? im rly rly worried. i think i have irregular cycle. (there was a time that i was 29 days, then 31, then recently, 35 i think) i am really really worried. he also told me and was sure that he never touched his thing, and when he goes to the cr, he always wash his hand. he ensured me that his hands were clean or free of anything everytime he touches me down there. i dont know why, but the fact that if ever i followed my 35-cycle, my period should have come this 21st of oct. i am really worried, and the fact that he was sure that he was clean stresses me out. any advices? :l

ps, i had been experiencing cramps, and my breast are sore (only whnevr i touch them)
and this was the only activity that we've been doing. nothing more.

Anon,

Fingering ALONE does not cause pregnancy. Your partner would have to deliberately put the sperm in his fingers and then insert his fingers in your vagina for pregnancy to be possible.

Please, if you do not know what can and cannot cause pregnancy, go to your doctor and get educated on the matter. But do not practice sexual acts if you are unsure of what the consequences are.

Good Luck to you,

Rosa

i want to ask something, out of curiosity. some sites said that fingering can cause pregnancy. how is it? i mean, do you need to have like, a big amount of sperm on your hand for this to happen? and what are the chances of being pregnant? slim to non? or what? :)

if we did this more than once, but still, we are sure that no sperm was there, would it affect anything at all? we never did anything excpt fngring.

No, as I have said, fingering alone will not get you pregnant. There must be penis to vagina penetration.

thats the reason why i never thought of taking a PT because i really am that sure.. or we are that sure that he never had semen on his hands. i am just worried about my period, since i am irrgular. somtimes i get it sooner or later. but th fact that we did some foreplay this month stresses me. i feel cramps down there, and i feel miserable since i havnt had it still. is stress holding my period back? i had sleepless nights and i really felt miserable because of this.

Anon,

It could be stress but if you normally have irregular periods then you will just have to wait to get your period.

The single act of fingering you will not get you pregnant.

Good Luck,

Rosa

Dear Anonymous,

Thank you for your post!

You cannot get pregnant through fingering. Even if your boyfriend touched his penis, this doesn't mean that he had sperm on it. Both you and him would see the sperm on his hands if he did have it-- which I highly doubt. Keep in mind that stress plays a factor in the delay of your period. If you want added peace of mind, you can certainly take a pregnancy test by now.

Best,

Rosa
