I took next choice but then had protected sex, will that affect the pill?

Today I had unprotected sex and quickly rushed to take the pill. But then about a hour after I had sex again but this time I had a condom. My boyfriend was worried this might affect the pill. I have only taken one pull so far. I have to take the second one in the morning . Will that affect me?

Thank you for your question and welcome to Empowher. You should be fine since you still have to take the second pill. If you have additional sexual activity, be sure to use a condom.
