ok i recently posted the same thing but i needed to edit and cant figure out how.
I took plan b 3 months in a row (i know that's not good, but it was the best option i had) The most recent time i took plan b was bc my boyfriend had taken the condom off without me knowing. He inserted his penis and immediately pulled back out. He didn't ejaculate inside me, but he had recently ejaculated so i was afraid the sperm were still on him. So, i took plan b...again for the 3rd month in a row. The first 2 times i took plan b my period came w/in 4 days of the expected time. This time, my period is 10 days late. I have taken multiple pregnancy tests, all negative. The last was taken 8 days after my expected period. After i took plan b this most recent time I bled lightly, not like my normal period, for 6 days 2 wks before my expected period. The beginning was bright red but much less than normal and toward the end the amount was much smaller and more brown. My last period was on April 28th. I had sex on May8th @ 4 am. Took plan b on May 9th at 6pm. Bled LIGHTLY 2 weeks before my expected period starting on June 14th-june 18th or 19th. Was this my period? Could i be pregnant? is it likely that im pregnant? When will i get my period? How accurate are pregnancy tests that late after a missed period? (my last negative HPT was 8 days past my expected period

Hi Christi,

One of the side effects of Plan B is a change in period. It doesn't always happen but is very common with taking Plan B. If you are already 10 days late and took a pregnancy test on day 8, then you are not pregnant just having a side effect from Plan B. I can't tell you when your period will come but don't stress-- it will come.

You may want to consider using another form of birth control such as a birth control pill. Plan B is not meant to be used as birth control but as an Emergency Contraceptive. It is also probably cheaper for you to get a pack of birth control pills monthly than it is to be constantly buying Plan B; which is so expensive. Please practice safe sex and you will avoid unnecessary stress.

All the best,

Rosa
