I am so afraid that it will be cancer. i hope i will have a good out come.I my question is that if a nodule grows does that mean that it's cancer?

Guide

Hi,
It is very normal and understandable that you would be anxious about the possibility of being diagnosed with cancer. However, be reassured that your physician is being very cautious and thorough by ordering the appropriate testing.
Nodules in the stomach can be the result of inflammation of the lining of the stomach because of infection. A person's diet can cause the nodules. Too much salt and processed foods and not enough fruits and vegetables is another culprit. Many nodules might be ulcers. In more extreme cases, a nodule is a sign of cancer.
I will send positive thoughts in your direction that the ultrasound does not indicate cancer.
