Hi, I have something called scoliosis and my physical therapist diagnosed me with this condition and she also diagnosed me with something called chostocondritis. I do know what it is but not exactly. What does it mean exactly? Can scoliosis cause costochondritis? My chest and breasts really hurt and sometimes I feel like I get out of breathe which really scares me. The pain bothers me in a way that sometimes I can't even wear a bra. Which doctor you think helps with the matter of costochondritis? I really want to take care of this I'm to scared these past few days. Please let me know about this right away.
Thanks,
Melissa

I see okay. My primary physician doesn't know so much whenever I say something I'm thinking if I mention this to a rheumatologist would know better. My physical therapist diagnosed me with costochondritis and I was thinking if I tell her about what I'm experiencing now and if I say I heard for such thing a rheumatologist would help with this do you think it's a good idea I mention this to my physical therapist? Please let me know.

Hi Melissa6666,
It's best to see your primary care physician first and he can refer you to the right specialist to treat your condition. Some patients with this condition get treated with a rheumatologists.
