I'm spotting and never used birth control.

Can you help? So I’ve always had irregular period and that's cool, but for about 2 ½ years now I’ve been spotting and I still get my period from time to time. I’m not nor have I ever been on birth control? Is there a way I can stop the spotting?

Hi Ihatefkeppl,

Thank you for your question. If this is "normal" for you as you mentioned that this has occured for over 2 years now, the spotting is probably just your normal period.

If your periods are irregular already, taking birth control pills can control the monthly regularity but that is something you will have to make a decision about.
