It hurts And I'm Scared

Hi, I had a procedure done more than a month ago and everything went well. It's been few days I feel something very sharp in the area and I went to urgent care because my doctor wasn't available. He told me the procedure you had done it's not fully healed and that's why the surgical thread is hanging out giving me the sharp pain. Today I'm going to my doctor for this and I would like to hear from you how do you think it gets fixed? I'm scared of the pain and I'm wondering what you think my doctor will do for this? Please let me know soon.
