Hi, from I remembered my period has always been crazy, meaning one month It would come on the fifth day then the next month it would come on the ninteenth. Anyways, I recently noticed my last period was irregular, on 9 of july I noticed a little brown blood when i wiped but the next day I didn't see anything. On the 11 I started to notice the same thing again when I wiped. I just assumed that my period will soon come down because I usually would spot 2 or 3 days before. But the spotting lasted for 9 days on and off changing from brown, pink and then bright red. There was no painful cramps that I usually have just a mild dull ache. On day 10 I decided to go see a doc I explained the events to them and the only thing they said was I might have cancer, fibroids or a hormone imbalance so they gave me provera. On this same day I notice more blood and some mild cramps, a few hours while using the bathroom I notice a large dark red blood clot the size of a golf ball in the toilet. Sorry for the long info and tmi but I would really like to know if I miscarried.

Hi Leandra,
You owe it to yourself to find another doctor. Your health is a stake. Telling you that you may have cancer, fibroids or a hormonal imbalance without any diagnostic testing to document the diagnosis is unacceptable.
Wishing you the best,

Thank you very much for the info and no my physician has not did any testing for anything. Because of her not testing me for anything I refuse to go back and now I am currently looking for another doc.

Hi,
It is very possible that you had a miscarriage. Some women experience a miscarriage without even knowing they were pregnant. The warning signs of a miscarriage include mild to severe back pain which is worse than normal menstrual cramps, white pink mucus, brown or bright red bleeding with or without cramps, tissue with clots passing from the vagina and painful contractions which occur every 5 o 20 minutes.
If indeed this was a miscarriage that occurred very early in the pregnancy, your body expelled all the fetal material by itself.
Did this physician do any diagnostic testing to determine that you have cancer, fibroids or a hormonal imbalance? I suggest you find another doctor and have a proper examination, including blood work and a pelvic exam.
