Hello achiever2012,

Welcome back and thank you for elaborating and explaining your situation.

In my opinion, you have created an unhealthy situation for yourself.
How long have you been involved with this new man in your life?

I am concerned that you have moved rather quickly in this relationship following the end of a very disturbing relationship. Moving in with your new lover and ending interaction and socializing with your other friends is not good for you.

It is wonderful that you love him and both of you get along so well. But,
it sounds like you have made him the center of your world. Cutting yourself off from your other friends can be the reason you feel insecure and concerned about what would happen if he leaves you.

I suggest that you resume your relationships with your other friends. Invite your friends over. Include your new boyfriend to party with you and your friends. Socialize with his friends.

As your relationship grows, I think you may feel less vulnerable.

Hello achiever2021,
Could you elaborate? What do you mean by it being wrong or unhealthy to get close to a lover or boyfriend?
