Hi Anon,

Thank you for your question and welcome to EmpowHer! Tamoxifen should not be taken when a person has liver failure, therefore I would think that alcohol consumption should be limited but there is no warning on any information on the drug that says you must eliminate it completely-- please verify with your doctor that it's okay for you to a have a drink every now and again.
Soy and soy products, however, should be eliminated while taking Tamoxifen.

Please keep us updated with what your doctor recommends-- I definitely do not think he will eliminate alcohol forever.

All the best,

Rosa
