I've never had sex but my peiod is late...

My now ex-boyfriend and I would fool around, fingering and hand job, but we never allowed his penis to touch me or vice versa. We broke up a few days after the last time we fooled around. My period was supposed to come towards the end of June like the 28thish...It's not July 11th and even though I've never had sex I'm still freaking out. Is it normal to miss a period and should I be worried about it??

Anonymous,
Believe me when I tell you that all of us have 'freaked' out before. Once you start your period, you will instantly calm down and then take a deep breath. Perhaps remembering this time and preparing yourself for the next experience will help ease your mind too.

Good luck,
Missie

Hi Anonymous,
Thank you for your question and welcome to EmpowHer. No, you do not have to worry about pregnancy at all. You may actually be experiencing some stress due to the break up which may be causing the delay in your period. Stress and missing periods are very common. I hope this helps and good luck.

Thanks! I'm just freaking out, I've been late before and I always stress about it. I'm not sure how to calm myself down. I'm almost 19 years old and freaking out ):
