Hello, I’m 21 years old and freaking out because my period is late
My situation
Last period was June 24th, 2009 and is now July 25th 2009 and nothing yet, I had sex with my boyfriend on July 19th and the condom broke and I’m not on the pill so I got plan b but I threw up after taking it. I’m about 4/5 days late (I’m not 100% sure how many days are in my cycle I’m guessing 28)... I took a HPT on July 24 and it was negative- But still no period...I’m starting to become stressed and obsessed with getting my period - should I take another test ?

Take a deep breath--Even through your post I can sense your anxiety about being pregnant.
I know it may seem like you absolutely have to know if you are pregnant or not right now, but the truth is that the earlier you test, the less likely you are to have an accurate result. Wait until you are a week late (this will be hard, I know) and test again.

When you took Plan B, how long after did you throw up? Immediately or 15 minutes+ later?

Trust me, a broken condom is grounds for stress, just remember that there are only a few days in the entire month that you are actually able to conceive a child. I am not saying that there still isn't a chance for pregnancy what I am saying is that the odds are with you, not against you.

Your period may be well on its way. I know it's easier said than done, but try to relax.
