Late, short period??

My period was a week late and only lasted 3 days. When it started it was light pink and brown and spotty which I've never had then the second day it was bright red which I've also never had and then the third day it was extremely light to the point you could only tell it was there when I wiped (idk if that's tmi). Boyfriend and I have had unprotected sex 3 times between last period and this one, he did pull out but I've read a lot that that doesn't work often times. Another thing to note was that this period had little to no pain and I have dysmenorrhea so my periods are always painful for at least 3 days, I didn't even feel this one. I just want to know what's going on with my body, I also took 2 pregnancy test before I got my period and they both came back negative. Someone help PLEASE

Hi jayveebee,

Welcome to EmpowHER.  If you had unprotected sex, whether he ejaculated inside or not.  Your chances for pregnancy to occur are higher.  If you took the pregnancy test before your period was due, you might have tested to early.  Other things can also cause changes to your cycles, such as stress and many other.  You need to see your doctor, to know what is really causing all these changes.

Best,

Daisy
