I seemed to have strained my left knee tendon. I injured the knee early May. The knee seems to get better but when I do something like work out the pain comes back and is getting worse. I have not seen a doctor yet. Does it take this long for a tendon strain to heal?
Thanks
Brian

Hi Anon,
Knee Pain should be taken seriously if it has lasted this long. Did you ice your knee when you first felt the pain? The best thing to do when you feel anything wrong with your knee is ice and rest. Straining your knee when you're not sure if it's better could possibly make it worse. So, if it's been in pain every time you exercise then this should be evaluated by a doctor so that he can get an accurate diagnosis through an MRI.
Please keep us posted,
Rosa
