He told me the same thing is laverititis viral I dont know how to spell it any way he did not prescribed anything he say it will go away on its own after that some days I will get dizzy in the afternoons after getting home from work and my face would get really hot as if I had fever any way during the month of April it got worst and worst everyday that sometimes I had to go home early from work and didnt finish my shift I had to quit I was afraid I would loose my balance and get really dizzy and fall between all my customers by the way I used to be a cashier at Walmart and I really liked my job I liked talking to all my customers and help them and give them good costumer service after I quit I went to see the other ear nose and throat specialist we have in this area he noticed that when I was very dizzy my eyes were moving rapidly from side to side so he send me for an ENT balancing test in Methodist hospital in Houston TX. the test was horrible it actually made me dizzier this week the results came back and the dr. call me and said that thank GOD everything is working fine with my brain and the mechanism in my ear and he told me the same thing IT SHOULD GO AWAY ON ITS OWN! so in a way I am happy everything is working fine but I still loosing my balance thruouth the day and sometimes I am afraid to go even grocery shopping which i really have to do sometimes the bright light at the grocery store bother me a lot right now we are almost at the end of the school year and thats when my kids have a lot of events at school like awards and my oldest son will be graduating from high school on June 5th It is an event very important for me I been wating for this for a long time We have relatives coming from out of town and we want to trow him a big party but as the days get closer I get really anxious and I am afraid that I will get sick in the middle of graduation I really want to get better I am thinking if this could be something hormonal Please help me ! Hi Anon - I believe that what you mean by "laverititis" is most likely the term "Labyrinthitis." You can learn more about it the causes and treatments here:
https://www.empowher.com/media/reference/labyrinthitis

It's not uncommon for people with balance disorders to be told they will clear up on their own and then find that's not the case. You may need to seek a specialized form of physical therapy which you can read about in this article: https://www.empowher.com/ears-nose-throat/content/dizziness-disorders-new-specialized-treatments-available

I hope you're able to get the help you need, and that your family has a wonderful day celebrating your son's graduation. Please let us know how you do in following up on this, and best of luck to you! Pat
