About 3years ago I decided to use paragard for birth control. I now have gone without a period for 15 months. Do you think I'm safe to have it removed. I'm 46 years old.

Hi Anonymous,

You have officially entered Menopause if you have not had a period in more than 12 months. Please inform your doctor, he will most likely agree that it's safe to remove your Paragard.

Best Wishes,

Rosa
