My body is confusing me!

I can't decide if I should take a pregnancy test or not.
I had unprotected sex on a Friday night and took a plan b 50+ hours after (Monday afternoon). I got my period that next weekend 4-5 day after taking it, like the side effects said could possibly happen. Not "implantation bleeding" or "spotting" I'm talking like a full blown period, heavy flow, cramps, and numerous tampons 4 days long. So my doctor told me that was totally normal and that would be my 'new' period time (the middle of the month) OH and she also gave me a pregnancy test and it was negative. So, I didn't worry.

Until recently. I ended up getting my 'normal' period a few days later than normal, lighter and shorter than normal (like my doctor said could happen) But none the less I didn't worry. I was actually relieved. I had, had two periods since I had unprotected sex. Go me right!? Or so I thought.
Since that period had ended, my IBS symptoms have been way worse than usual, a little bit of thrush, and my nipples are freaking me out. They sometimes look larger, sometimes darker, a bit sore, and hard. My left nipple is actually looking inverted, however my right nipple is not. But my nipples definitely look different, or so it seems to me.

I don't know what to think, doctors keep telling me not to worry but I can't help it. I've been reading a lot of forums and some of them are a little bit like what I'm going through or not at all. But this forum is so great, I've read a couple great stories on here and I would really like to hear all of your advice! Please help.

Guide

Hello and welcome to EmpowHer,
First, I'd like to describe a little about the process of conception.
Women can only become pregnant during ovulation which lasts up to 2 days. Ovulation occurs about 2 weeks before your period. If the egg is not fertilized during that short that, it will be eliminated with the menstrual bleeding. If a women does become pregnant during ovulation she will sometimes experience implantation bleeding about 2 weeks later around the time when she would usually have her period. However the bleeding is only spotting that lasts 1 or 2 days. It is noticeably different than a regular period.
In your case, I do not know if you were ovulating or not. But since you took the Plan B correctly (I'm assuming) and at the proper time, it successfully prevented pregnancy. Plan B also disrupts your cycle, as you saw. If you still stress out after using birth control and having a negative pregnancy test, then perhaps you are not yet ready to have intercourse. I understand that you are worried, so in the future, save yourself the stress by being comfortable with your birth control method.
