Q:

My distal ulna protrudes more than my right. It forms somewhat of a roundish ball on the palm side. It doesn't hurt, restrict movement, and doesn't seem to be changing. Already had an X-ray, and nothing was seen. Opinions?

I broke the exact same area maybe 10 years ago.

Hi Anon,

Welcome to EmpowHER. It might have been caused by a sudden movement, an accident or many other causes. You might need to discuss with your doctor, other methods such as bone scanning and ultrasonography are also indicated, in cases of difficult diagnosis.

Best,

Daisy
