I thought it was thrush and took a tablet but the symptoms seem to have gotten worse so I went to the doctor who said there are no obvious signs of thrush and I am now getting tested for chlamydia and gonorrhoea but I am 100% positive my partner and I have only been with each other (my partner did have a gf before me but they didn't go all the way)
Any information would be helpful!

Hi Anon, Welcome to EmpowHER and thanks for your question. If the results of the test do come back positive for Chlamydia, then either you or your partner have to had picked it up from a previous partner. This bacterium is transmitted via semen and vaginal secretions during vaginal, anal or oral sex. Early antibiotic treatment is extremely successful and may prevent the development of long-term complications. Untreated infection, however, may lead to complication
