my period isn't due until tomorrow the 18th of May.

I have been having unprotected sex since my period finished for a week and it is possible that i may have had unprotected sex when I was ovulating. I tooka pregnancy test yesterday and it came out negative. Is it possible that I'm pregnant but my hcG levels are to low to detect pregnancy?

Hi Anonymous,

If your dates are not off, then you should have a pretty accurate pregnancy test by now. If you miss your period, then you can go ahead and take another pregnancy test but most tests are designed to give accurate results within 3 days before your period is due.
