Hi anon,

Welcome to EmpowHER.  Many things can cause bumps on the skin.  A rash, due to a reaction to something he touched or ate. An insect bite, have you checked his bed.  Bed bugs can also cause small, flat, or raised bumps on the skin. Common sign; redness, swelling, and itching commonly occur.  Many other things can also cause bumps on the skin.  It’s very important for your son to be seen by his Pediatrician, they will know what the bumps are due to and help you find the right treatment.

Best,

Daisy
