Hi i would just like to know if anybody can tell me if this is pregnancy or not.

I had unprotected sex on the 13th and 14th of May, my period is usually the 23rd of every month.I got my period yesterday (22nd May), but it is light, and i usually have heavy periods.My breats are sore and very painfull heavy feelling below my abdomen..Read about implantation bleeding but not too sure..

Im assuming if i were to be pregnant i would be implanting? (roughly 10 days after inprotected sex days)..

please help!..

Hi Sunshine,

It sounds like you have a period, just a lighter one. Implantation bleeding is not even like a period-- it's more like a pink spotting that occurs before your period is due. Since you started bleeding on the 22nd and were due on the 23rd-- it is more than likely that this is your period and not implantation bleeding. Implantation bleeding is also scanty, unlike period bleeding which is more continuous and will progressively get darker/heavier. It may not be as heavy as other months, but this is normal with periods and is nothing to be alarmed about. If your light bleeding stops after a day, then you may want to test for pregnancy.
