Im a healthy 19yr old women and i was on the nuva ring for about a year... and in march 2011 i stopped taking it then in april 28 th i hade my normal cycle. but i missed May period and now its june 22. All my pt came out negiyive and im getting concerned can any one tell me whats going on??

Hi Fdelarosa,
Sometimes, after stopping your birth control, you may have an irregular period for the next few months, until you begin to ovulate regularly then you'll have them every month like you used to. Since you've taken pregnancy tests, I definitely think the missed periods are because you've recently stopped Nuvaring in March. Remember that when you come off birth control, your period can come back right away or take a few months to regulate itself. Usually by 4-6 months it's back to normal.
