One of my eyes has a droopy eyelid?

Hi, I am a 16 year old girl and my right eye has a droopy eyelid. My left eye is normal but my right eye's eyelid is sagging - is there a way to fix this? I have tried "eyelid tape", but it does not work for me and all it does is make my eyelid skin dry. I know there is surgery but I'm wondering if there's another option for me...

Hi,
Unfortunately, there is no recommended treatment except surgery for Ptosis (the medical term for "droopy eyelid"). Surgery is recommended if your ptosis is severe enough to effect your vision.

It is important to talk with your pediatrician about your ptosis, and ask about treatment options. Have you (or your parents or caregiver) already talked with your doctor about your condition?

You can read more at: Ptosis.
